In Our Conversation Today, We’re Exploring:

  • The importance of keeping in mind that we’re also someone else’s nemesis

  • How labeling someone as our nemesis can negatively impact our ability to be a good co-worker or team member

  • What our feelings about our nemesis say about ourselves

  • The one question you need to ask yourself when deciding how you’re going to interact with your workplace nemesis

  • Do we have to find a way to work with everyone?

Is there one person at work who you dread having to interact with or team up with on a project?

Have you deemed them your nemesis?

It’s so easy to label ourselves the hero and a co-worker we can’t stand working with as our nemesis, but that’s not always the case.

While calling someone you work with your nemesis can be a playful way to express your frustrations with them, it can lead to some unchecked emotions that might spiral into much bigger problems if the situation isn’t handled properly.

In fact, we’ve both had experiences with a workplace nemesis that lead us down a path we’re not proud of and that’s why we wanted to address this topic on the podcast.
