In Our Conversation Today, We’re Exploring:

  • The unexpected lesson Nayla learned over the summer break and how it relates to a woman’s handbag

  • The win Nayla had during the break that lived up to the expectations she had going in

  • How the break helped Eric rediscover an intention he set over three years ago and had unconsciously strayed from

  • How our summer break challenges the perception that everything will fall apart if we aren’t there every single day

  • The difference in taking time off from work and taking time away from work

Welcome back to the Inside Job podcast!

After taking our first break in four years of doing this podcast, we’re feeling equal parts rusty and excited to get back into the swing of things. And we’re grateful you’re here with us to experience both.

Part of the reason we decided to take that break was the feeling of burnout we were reaching. Now that we’ve been away for two and a half months, we want to check-in with ourselves to see if taking some time off actually helped the way we thought it would and share the biggest takeaways so you can determine if a break would be beneficial for you.
